Dr ANDREW SEATON

After teaching in primary and secondary schools in several states and territories, Dr Andrew Seaton worked in school-based and district-based advisory and leadership capacities relating to shifts in educational theory, policy and practice. He has done extensive consultancy work in this area, both in Australia and overseas.

Andrew has taught, written coursework and/or conducted research for several universities, and from mid-2004 spent two years as full-time Lecturer in New Learning at RMIT University in Melbourne.

His award-winning Ph.D. thesis titled, 'Investing in Intelligence: An Inquiry into Educational Paradigm Change', was completed at Deakin University in 2005. Andrew lives with his wife and a host of animals on a small property in the mountains of far northern New South Wales. His website is at andrewseaton.com.au
